along 14th Street from Avenue C to the Hudson River
In the Smiley Bag Portrait project, the artist drew a number of portraits of pedestrians on the smiley faces of take out plastic bags at different locations on 14th Street. After four years, he searches for past portraits by putting posters that read, “Looking for your smile bag” at the locations where the original piece was performed.
