Potlatch Pavilion
The Potlatch Pavilion is a series of temporary inflatable structures dedicated to producing non-capitalist spaces and temporary markets of gift-exchange. This inflatable intervention aims to construct and facilitate alternative systems of political economy, negotiating a definition of “value” with metrics other than to solely profit. During the course of the installation, a potlatch marketplace will take place in which the local community will be encouraged to bring gifts of debatable value.
